According to latest data from  Nielsen Netratings,  the ranking of most popular handsets in United States , Iphone is on the top one position.

Even do RIM´s Blackberry marketshare is two times bigger than Iphone worldwide, in the U.S. market,  Iphone is the most popular mobile phone with 4% of marketshare.  Blackberry is quite close with 3.7% of all handsets. The rest devices on the list are mainly featured phones.

Other interesting facts from this study are that 15% of all homes in U.S. have at least one Smartphone and 21% only have a mobile device at home, instead of a fixed line.
