It looks like Apple has been working very hard in environmental improvements during the last months. And this is reflected in Green peace’s greener consumer electronic ranking, where Apple is the most eco-friendly and greenest device manufacturer in the world.

This ranking has been published by Greenpeace since 2006, showing the top 18 consumer electronic brands when it comes to ecology. In this ranking we can see that most of the brands are working energetically in order to improve their processes from a eco-friendly point of view.

In the ranking, the golden stars represent products free of dangerous substance; the smaller the star is, the more harmful the product is for the environment. A grey star shows a company without any eco-friendly product.
